One of the problems in breeding ruminants is the feed supply. Many successful and developed countries have converted their land into business centre and industrial area. As a results area which are suitable for grazing become lessened. Second problem would be the limited feed supply during winter season.

 

An alternative to grass feed is required to provide fibre and energy to the ruminants. The alternative feed must also be available in large quantity and has a continuous supply throughout the year. The most significant product is high quality pure 100% OPF pellet. The nutritional value is between hay and straw that would provide energy and fibre to the ruminants. This is an excellent alternative to grass that faces limited supply due to the shrinking of the land area and winter supply problem. Furthermore OPF pellet is made from fresh leafage, which are readily available with constant supply. Moreover it is suitable for all ruminants.

This feeds is developed especially to accommodate the complete nutrition needs for any physiology of the ruminants. It is also identify as free from toxins, anti-nutritive factor, hazardous chemicals and heavy metals.

 

By taking this special formulation pellet 7 kg per day per head would increase the weight of cattle to 0.8 – 1 kg per day. For a dairy cattle, a recommended intake of 14 kg per day per head would produce 21.8 liter milk per day. An increase of 180g of body weight per day has been achieved in goat Boer.

Decanter Cake is the by-product from Crude Palm Oil production. After drying process it can be use as raw material for animal feed mainly as protein and energy source.
